Connect encourages customers to direct their Web traffic through our Web cache. There are several ways you can leverage off AAPT's large cache:

Direct all your customers to use our cache directly with their browsers. This will result in all their requests passing through AAPT's cache.
Run your own cache and configure the software to use our cache directly.
Install a Harvest cache and configure to use our cache as a parent.

The last two options reduce the traffic on your link, because your customers' queries can often be satisfied by your cache without the need to send the request to AAPT's. Because of this, they have the potential to save you a significant amount of money every month. We've researched caching technologies, and the savings which can be made by deploying them. This has lead us to the use of Harvest-based caching software, and to the belief that we can all save approximately 25% of our external bandwidth costs with a Web cache.
