You may have multiple AAPT Web sites using more than one domain name. If you wish to have multiple sites, you have two options:
AAPT can provide multiple Web servers which you can access using a single login name. Your service will contain a discrete directory structure for each AAPT Web site within the one cage. This is ideal if the same person or people will be administering the different AAPT Web sites under each domain name.
For example:
The company Widgeware has a login name of widget for their AAPT Web site. They have purchased two domain names under their AAPT Web site, widget.com.au and gadget.com.au. These sites are for two separate products but Sales maintains them both so it is easier to access them using the one account. The cage accessed by the login widget contains both AAPT Web sites under two directories called widget.com.au and gadget.com.au.
You may prefer to have each of your domain names set up as separate services with different login names, that is, in different cages. This ensures the privacy of each site and allows different administrators to maintain each individual site. This can be useful if different people or departments will be administering the different Web sites.
For example:
Widgeware has two domain names. Their Sales department looks after widget.com.au. This service has a login name of widget. Widgeware's Research department looks after gadget.com.au. This service has a login name of gadget.
You can add new domain names or set up new AAPT Web sites at any time.
To arrange multiple Web servers, contact your account manager. Please let
your account manager know if you already have a AAPT Web service with AAPT.
