Access Logs

All AAPT Web sites come with Webalizer, a flexible application for delivering useful statistics about your web site. Webalizer indicates how many hits each file in your web site is receiving providing you valuable feedback on how successful your site is and tracking the most popular pages.

Webalizer is significantly faster than many other web analysis tools.

There are two sets of log files for your site:

  • A set of read only logs which are used for accounting purposes under your /logs directory.
  • A full set of logs which you may customise if you wish under /htdocs/logs.

htdocs/logs

You can view your weekly log files at the URL http://www.yourdomain.com.au/logs/

You will be presented with a listing of all the log files by date. Click on the date for which you wish to check the logs and the logs for that month are presented.

/logs

The files stored here are read only and are used for accounting purposes. Each file covers logs for one day, calculated around 1am of the following day.

The graphs scale automatically and show statistics over time with an overlaid trend line.

Alternatively, you can also view the logfiles in spreadsheet format.
