If your mail is hosted by AAPT and you have your own domain name, the mail server you use is based on your domain. Generally, your mail server will be: mail.domain where domain is the part after the '@' symbol in your email address.
For example, if your email address is george@example.com, your mail server will be mail.example.com.
If you don't have a domain name of your own, your accounts are created under a generic domain. This is usually connect.net.au, but may be office.net.au. Your mail server will be: mail.domain where domain is the part after the '@' symbol in your email address.
For example, if your email address is alice@connect.net.au, your mail server will be mail.connect.net.au.
Some customers still use an old service named Interconnect. With Interconnect, you could have your own domain name, but the actual accounts would end with "@interconnect.com.au". If you have an Interconnect account, use mail.interconnect.com.au.
Regardless of the mail product you have with AAPT, the mail server should be among the details on your welcome letter. If you are still unsure of which hostname to use, please contact Support
