Setting up a 56K modem
AAPT has recently made 56K dial-up available. While most modems connect
with no difficulty at this speed, there are some models that require you
to enter an initialisation string to connect correctly. These instructions
list the modems affected, the initialisation strings required and instructions
on how to insert these initialisation strings in various operating systems.
